You can get started anytime. Simply arrange an introduction lesson with one of our receptionists and start learning right away!

You would like to take a break due to business trips, holidays or illness? No problem. You can inform us about the duration of your absence and we will extend your course accordingly. So you can stay on the ball and will not miss a minute of your course. Only the Dolphin® learning system offers this: Without exception every student can complete 100% of his/her course program.

As a child we learn our mother tongue by continually repeating what our parents say. With our Dolphin® learning system you can do the same – repeat any multimedia lesson as often as you want!

On average only 2 participants per Teacher Lesson, at most 5!

The average duration of 1 Unit is 5-6 weeks if you are doing the course alongside your job. However, you can also complete your course faster if you like.

You need to invest about 22 to 25 working hours per Unit.

Ich finde die Kombination, die das Cambridge anbietet, sehr gut. Die Conversation Stunden sind sehr informativ, aber auch unterhaltsam. Da dort Leute jeglichen Alters und Herkunft sind, kann ich - ohne Hemmungen - mein neu gelerntes Englisch ‚ausprobieren‘ und lerne gleichzeitig viele neue Menschen, Kulturen etc. kennen, einfach toll.
Man hat die Möglichkeit, die verschiedenen Lektionen/Levels von zu Hause aus am PC zu üben. Ich persönlich ziehe es vor, ins Institut zu gehen. Denn dort habe ich bei Fragen jederzeit Ansprechpartner an der Rezeption (oder auch eine/r der Lehrer/innen). Oder ich kann einfach so mal einen ‚netten Plausch‘ mit einer Mitarbeiterin oder Mitstudenten halten.
Ideal finde ich auch, dass man ein bestimmtes Ziel vereinbart, und nicht einfach z.B. für 3 Monate bezahlt. Will heissen, ich habe mehr individuelle Zeit, mein selbst gewähltes Ziel zu erreichen.
Ich kann das Cambridge Basel ehrlichen Herzens jedem empfehlen.

For more than two years I have attended the Cambridge Institute in Basel and I've never regretted it. I have had a lot of opportunities to improve my English. For the grammar, I visit the study centre, and for speaking, I visit conversation classes. The conversation class is always a highlight. All the teachers are nice and help me to improve my English. If you have no opportunity or time to go abroad to learn English, then go to the Cambridge Institute.

The CAE-group course is the perfect preparation for the exam of advanced English. During 9 months you learn all important topics for this exam. Furthermore, you have the opportunity to practice with several mock tests and check your knowledge level.
