I took the CPE course with Ron and could not have been more satisfied. The school offers a variety of classes, conversation events and self-study material. Also, the teachers are truly committed. Ron went through piles of mediocre writings for an entire year and gave feedback to every single essay before we were finally ready to tkae the exam and, of course, passed! I can definitely recommend the school!

This school is second to none. Especially when it comes to passing an examination such as FCE or CAE. In comparison to other English schools in Basel this one is undoubtedly outstanding & also interested that the students reach their targets. But bear in mind that from nothing nothing comes, you need to be ambitious and make an effort in order to succeed. Thanks to all teachers there, you are an amazing team & always supportive. The bottom line is for any learner don‘t give up you will achieve your aim.

Ich finde die Kombination, die das Cambridge anbietet, sehr gut. Die Conversation Stunden sind sehr informativ, aber auch unterhaltsam. Da dort Leute jeglichen Alters und Herkunft sind, kann ich - ohne Hemmungen - mein neu gelerntes Englisch ‚ausprobieren‘ und lerne gleichzeitig viele neue Menschen, Kulturen etc. kennen, einfach toll.
Man hat die Möglichkeit, die verschiedenen Lektionen/Levels von zu Hause aus am PC zu üben. Ich persönlich ziehe es vor, ins Institut zu gehen. Denn dort habe ich bei Fragen jederzeit Ansprechpartner an der Rezeption (oder auch eine/r der Lehrer/innen). Oder ich kann einfach so mal einen ‚netten Plausch‘ mit einer Mitarbeiterin oder Mitstudenten halten.
Ideal finde ich auch, dass man ein bestimmtes Ziel vereinbart, und nicht einfach z.B. für 3 Monate bezahlt. Will heissen, ich habe mehr individuelle Zeit, mein selbst gewähltes Ziel zu erreichen.
Ich kann das Cambridge Basel ehrlichen Herzens jedem empfehlen.

Tolle Beratung auf der ganzen Ebene, ich bin von A - Z zufrieden und habe mich eben entschieden ein weiteres Level in meinen Englisch Kenntnissen anzugehen. Ich kann dieses Schulkonzept nur empfehlen - gute Vorbereitungen für die Prüfungen. Weiter so....Cambridge Team!

For more than two years I have attended the Cambridge Institute in Basel and I've never regretted it. I have had a lot of opportunities to improve my English. For the grammar, I visit the study centre, and for speaking, I visit conversation classes. The conversation class is always a highlight. All the teachers are nice and help me to improve my English. If you have no opportunity or time to go abroad to learn English, then go to the Cambridge Institute.

The informal atmosphere during Ron’s lessons helped me feel relaxed and comfortable speaking in English at a proficient level. I was glad to have found this offer of private tutorials at the Cambridge Institute Basel that allowed me to concentrate on my specific needs and questions. Ron is a very competent and attentive teacher whose teaching skills and charisma made me feel well prepared and highly motivated on my way to the exam! Thank you so much for the wonderful support!

The CAE-group course is the perfect preparation for the exam of advanced English. During 9 months you learn all important topics for this exam. Furthermore, you have the opportunity to practice with several mock tests and check your knowledge level. The small student group allows for an intensive exchange with the teacher and you learn quickly all the relevant subjects. With teamwork, exercises  and homework you will improve your English in an easy way.

Definitely the right choice concerning improving my English skill-level!
